  14. Klingon BG App had it's start at MacHack 1996. I was too busy to finish it last year, but I saved it for this year.

  17. What is it?

Klingon BG App is a background only application that can be placed in the extension folder of your system folder.  It will annouce that it has successfully started.  Once it has started, it will start announcing the time in one minute intervals.  Since Klingon BG App is scriptable, you can change the interval via AppleScript.
